Hyatt Zilara Cancun - All Inclusive - Adults Only

My husband and I returned to Zilara this July for a week to celebrate my birthday and also celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We celebrated our honeymoon at this property and were so impressed that we knew we needed to return. I was a little concerned about how our stay would be after the renovation knowing that some of the things we previously enjoyed may not be available, however this was not an issue at all. The renovation is beautiful! Upon arrival we were offered a cool towel which smelled like eucalyptus and was very nice. When we got to our room, we were greeted with rose petals, a bouquet of roses balloons, and a birthday treat. Little did I know my husband requested that surprise for me. Adorable! The room was gorgeous. Completely obsessed with the shower. We rented a cabana at the pool party for my birthday that came with a premium bottle of liquor. No regrets! We had an absolute blast! The show that was put on was incredible, and the service was top notch. At one point we were brought birthday shots and I was briefly celebrated by the staff. Loved it! Jonathan at the pool was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. His sunglasses were cool. We also observed Sandy running around every day around the pool doing various activities without skipping a beat. Couldn’t believe how organized and high energy she was all the time! Definitely good at keeping good vibes going. The food at all of the restaurants was also incredibly good. Olio D’Oliva was probably my personal favorite, but I’m a sucker for Italian food so I’m a little biased in that way. The pasta tasted fresh, the view was amazing, and we got a huge kick out of the giant pepper grinder! However, we were also very impressed with Bugambilia. I swear we almost ordered every dish on the menu. Juan at Bugambilia was funny, attentive, and generous with us. He made us feel like a guest in his own home. I also enjoyed the live music. We definitely did order every single dessert on the menu. Ate at Pier 12 multiple times for breakfast and lunch. Cannot beat the views there, and everything we ate was incredible. My personal favorite was the smoked salmon sandwich, but my husband’s bacon egg lettuce and tomato sandwich looked really good too. Ate a ton of shrimp as well! Spices had a great selection of all kinds of food. I learned a little too late about getting a to go box and taking some food to the beach for lunch. We often ended up in Highlights later in the evening for drinks. Karaoke night was a blast! My throat was sore the next day from singing along with everyone. For our anniversary, I booked the romance package at the spa and again, no regrets. The massage was incredible. My husband actually fell asleep at one point. I apologize for forgetting names, but I think one of our masseuse’s names was Susan and she had a partner. They were amazing at getting us relaxed, which is a difficult feat for two people with high-stress lives. I also booked the dinner on the beach, however the weather did not cooperate so I ended up cancelling and we just enjoyed room service and ate on the balcony. I probably ordered the room service club sandwich 3 times during our stay because I enjoyed it so much. We spent more time at the beach than at the pool. We love the sound of the ocean and the ocean water was a lot cooler than the pool. There was a lot of concern about the sargassum but that situation changed daily it seemed. No worries though, the hotel has someone clean up the beach! We absolutely adored our server Catalina. He was kind, welcoming, attentive, and seemed to really enjoy his job. We loved seeing him almost every day and hope to see him again when we return. The only complaint I have was other guests blasting Bluetooth speakers at the pool. At one point there was the DJ playing music, a group by the swim up bar blasting music, and someone in a swim up suite blasting music. It was a little overstimulating. Seems like the quiet side of the pool isn’t so quiet anymore which is a bummer, but this issue wasn’t super impactful to us since we found serenity at the beach. Overall, our stay was fantastic! Everyone we encountered was incredible and helpful. We have never experienced this level of service at any other property. I wish I would have written down all of the names of the people we had the pleasure of meeting but I didn’t think of it until mid week. Everyone there deserves a raise! We will be back! Beautiful hotel! Rooms were outstanding and the views of the beautiful Caribbean were picture perfect. Of course the sargasm was bad, but some days the water was perfectly clear. Pools were nice, but small and very warm, you couldn't cool off unless you were out of the water. The swim-up bar is only in the quiet poo which makes it very hard to get drinks from the party pool. The value for this trip was Outstanding. You can't ask for better service everyone was so helpful and friendly. Restaurants were ok, menu's need help in some of the restaurants, but food served was very good. Buffet was outstanding.

Amazing experience all over. The service is excellent. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The food is delicious, The pools and activities were very nice. Everyone made us feel special. Jose loria, umbardo, alexa, Isi and the entire staff were perfect. Will definitely come back

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing vacation. The resort is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and the beachfront is absolutely stunning with crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand. The food exceeded our expectations, with plenty of delicious options at every restaurant. The drinks were great, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking ocean views. We especially enjoyed spending time by the pools and on the beach, where there were always plenty of loungers and a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for an adults-only resort that’s perfect for relaxing while still offering fun activities and excellent amenities, Hyatt Zilara Cancún is a fantastic choice. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Best vacation of my life! My husband and I came to Hyatt Zilara 10 years ago on our honeymoon, and came back to celebrate our anniversary this summer. It has only gotten better and better! From the second we arrived, we were greeted with cold aromatic towels, fresh drinks, and smiling faces. The renovations are beautiful and the atmosphere is just so clean and relaxing. It is located on the main hotel strip, but you truly feel like you’re in your own little bubble. Our ocean front king suite was massive and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Top notch amenities in the room include a daily stocked mini fridge with sodas, water, juice, and beer, a nespresso coffee maker, luxury bath products from Bigelow Apothecary. The room also had a steamer, iron, safe, robe/slippers, and hair dryer. It is not a party scene, it is quiet and peaceful, but there is always something entertaining to do. Some of our top experiences were pool and beach volleyball and aqua aerobics and Zumba. Both were lead by Sandy with the entertainment team. She is incredible! She is a kind face full of energy and spunk. She was hilarious and just so fun to interact with. She knew us by name and just made our trip that much more special. Mary also helped with activities and was equally as wonderful! We attended a few late night activities at the sports bar, karaoke and the silent disco, both a great time! The foam party was also a blast at the activity pool! The spa! There are not enough words. My husband and I have had a lot of massages, but this was hands down the best! Alina and Martha took the best care of us and gave us the most relaxing and serene experience! I cannot wait to visit them again soon! We booked a whale shark experience through the Amstar representative Paul at the resort. He made everything perfect for us! He even went out of his way to check in with us after the excursion to hear all about it. He was so personable, telling us about his family, we felt like old friends. Paul was also able to recommend a market to visit and give us tips and tricks to get the best deals. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Paul! All of the restaurants on site are fantastic, but Bugambilia was our favorite! We went twice and each experience was outstanding. We had Wilson as our waiter the first time, and he is the best! He is such a kind soul and he made sure to take my gluten allergy so seriously. He went as far as to have a special dessert made for me and it was incredible. Our second dinner there our waiter was Jose Loria. He is equally as wonderful! He took special time to have the live musicians play for us and was just great to talk to and give us his recommendations. I can’t speak enough about just how kind every single person there is! Nine days just wasn’t enough, it was worth every penny, and I’m already planning our next visit!

This resort is absolutely amazing from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave. The service is absolutely amazing. All the restaurants were great. The entire resort is kept absolutely spotless. The rooms are cleaned every morning and there’s a turn down service every night making the room feel very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every morning, drinking a cup of coffee and staring out at the ocean. We watched turtles come up on the beach and nest, which was so cool. The service was absolutely amazing from the poolside waiters to the cabana people to the entertainment crew to all the servers in all the restaurants. Everyone is so friendly and so willing to do absolutely anything to make your stay amazing. A special shout out to Rosa and Marcilino at Pier 12. Mayanine at the pool served us some amazing drinks. The cabana crew was so accommodating . Danria was amazing. We fell in love with Elizabeth and Sandy, the entertainment crew. They were so much fun. I know I’m forgetting some names and I’m so sorry I didn’t want to leave anybody out. If you’re considering this resort, definitely book it. It’s a very laid-back, quiet and relaxing place.
